Ambassador Program Terms
Version 1 · Effective October 7, 2026 · Updated October 9, 2026
These terms cover the Rocko’s World Ambassador program, where grown-ups share Rocko’s World with other families and earn a commission when those families buy. They add to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. By joining, you agree to them.
Who can join
- You must be 18 or older (or the age of adulthood where you live, if that’s higher) and have a Rocko’s World account in good standing.
- The program is open worldwide, except in countries under comprehensive US sanctions, where we can’t accept Ambassadors or pay anyone.
- One Ambassador code per account. Your code can’t be changed once you join, because it’s printed on your cards and links.
- Before your first payout we’ll confirm who you are and ask for a tax form: a W-9 if you’re in the US, or a W-8BEN if you’re not.
How referrals are credited
- Share your link (rockosworld.com/r/YOURCODE). When someone opens it, we remember your code on rockosworld.com for up to 60 days.
- If they create a Rocko’s World account in that time, the account is credited to you. If they opened more than one Ambassador’s link, the last one before they signed up counts.
- Once an account is credited to you, that doesn’t change.
- You can’t refer yourself or your own household, and you can’t earn on your own purchases.
What you earn
- Rocko’s World Plus: 25% of each payment from families you referred. Once you have 25 active paying families, it goes up to 30%.
- Shop orders (Rocko Pals, Rocko Toys and other products): 8% of each order.
- You earn on each family’s payments for 12 months from their first payment.
- Percentages are of the amount we actually receive, after card fees and refunds.
- You don’t earn for sign-ups, free accounts, or for bringing in other Ambassadors — only for real purchases.
- Big months get a review. If your commissions in a calendar month go over $1,000, we check the extra before it’s paid. Once approved, it’s paid like any other commission. We may decline commissions that come from fraud or from breaking these rules.
Payouts
- Each commission is held for 60 days in case of a refund or a card dispute (chargeback). If the purchase is refunded or charged back during the hold, the commission is canceled.
- Refunds after a payout. If a purchase is refunded or charged back after we’ve paid you its commission, that amount comes off your next payout. If you have no further payouts, we may ask you to pay it back.
- Once the hold ends, it’s ready to pay. We pay monthly once you have at least $25 ready; smaller amounts roll over to the next month.
- Commissions are earned in US dollars. We pay through our payout provider, in your local currency where it supports one.
- You pay the costs of paying you. Transfer and currency-conversion fees come out of each payout, so the amount that arrives may be a little less than what you earned.
- If our payout provider can’t pay people in your country yet, your earnings stay saved in your account until it can, or until we add another way to pay you.
- Payouts haven’t started yet. Referrals are tracked from the day you join, and we’ll email you before payouts begin.
- You’re responsible for any taxes on what you earn where you live. If you’re in the US, we’ll send you a 1099 where the law requires it.
The rules
- Say you earn a commission. Whenever you share your link, make it clear, for example: “I may earn a commission if you sign up.” On social media, also add #ad. Follow the advertising rules where you live.
- Grown-ups only. Share with parents and other adults. Never aim your link at children, and never share it in schools, kids’ groups, or on sites made for kids.
- Be honest. Don’t make claims about Rocko’s World we don’t make, and don’t present yourself as Rocko’s World or its staff.
- No spam. No unsolicited bulk messages, fake reviews, or posting your link where it isn’t welcome.
- No paid search ads on “Rocko” names or misspellings of them.
- No tricks. No fake accounts, buying through your own link, or paying people to sign up.
If the rules are broken
We may suspend a code that breaks these rules, and commissions earned by breaking them won’t be paid. We’ll tell you by email why your code was suspended.
We also pause a code automatically if an unusually high share of the purchases it brought in are refunded or charged back. While a code is paused it earns nothing new and isn’t paid. We’ll review it and either reactivate it or tell you why not.
Changes to these terms
If we change the commission rates or rules, the new version applies to Ambassadors who join after the change. You keep the version you joined under. If we ever need to change or end the program for everyone, we’ll give you at least 30 days’ notice by email, and commissions you’ve already earned stay payable.
Your information
We keep your code, name, email and earnings so we can credit and pay you. Families you refer are never shown to you by name — you see counts and amounts only. See the Privacy Policy for details.
